Lifestyle Habits That Keep Me Sane
My morning routine has evolved over time, and recently I have a few habits that have truly transformed how my days flow. Here are a few lifestyle habits that have made a difference for me, and hopefully they can help you as well!
Meditation apps:
There’s nothing like taking time to breathe and refocus. Daily meditation doesn’t have to be a chore, and with apps like Calm, it’s easy to add to your schedule. I’ve found that regular meditation has lowered my stress levels and even helped my quality of sleep.
Habit Tracker:
You can find these free with different apps (like Habitica) or printables, or you can take pen to paper with a Habit Tracker like this one. I find it really helps to outline certain habits that I want to prioritize or eliminate and hold myself accountable each day. It really makes a difference when you see it written down as a daily goal.
The Five Minute Journal:
Journaling is where I’m able to really decompress and pour out my thoughts. Sometimes, five minutes is all you need to check in with yourself and reset. I reach for The Five Minute Journal, and my oldest is now loving the kids’ version.
Moon Deck:
I love using this Moon Deck as a daily meditation guide. Whether you use these as a daily tool for reflection and meditation, or just inspiration, they are such a great tool for grounding and centering at the beginning of each day.
Let me know if you have any daily lifestyle habits and if you’ve noticed improvement in your day-to-day life with them. I’d love to hear what you’re trying!
